The capital of Santorini, Fira, is located right along Caldera offering fantastic views. The closest place to admire the Volcano, by the way.
Oia village
Here comes the Queen. Oia is the most beautiful town in the whole island. Walking along the marble street you will arrive to the castle (Kastro) passing by the Blue Domes, cave houses, exclusive shops and beautiful captains’ mansions. What to say about dining at the exclusive restaurants or watching the sunset from the windmills!
Red Beach
The Red Beach is one of the most surprising natural sites of the island. Located not far from Akrotiri, this striking landscape leaves you breathless. Coming here just for a panoramic picture or going down the wild path to enjoy a swim, the Red Beach definitely gets a special place in your heart. More than that, the rocks vary their colors depending on the time of the day while a bright whitewashed chapel of St. Nicolas is guarding the entrance to the path.
Wineries
We say you have not been in Santorini if you have not tasted the wines produced here. Divine, surprising taste that covers today 53 rare varieties. Make sure to visit not only the most famous but the smallest private wineries as well – those are the ones that help you to appreciate both the island and the unique tastes. To say more, the history of wine making counts here more than 3500 years. Will you miss that?
Profitis Ilias
The highest spot of Santorini, Profitis Ilias Mountain gives you an opportunity to admire the whole island, the Volcano and the endless deep blue sea. The mountain got its name from the monastery built here at the beginning of 18th century. Enjoy the breathtaking views and taste the local products produced by the monks. The sunset seen from this serene place is also very impressive.
Panagia Episkopi
The oldest Byzantine style Orthodox church of the island that is open for visitors is called Panagia Episkopi. It is the most holy place in Santorini and is located a bit off the road leading to Kamari. A miraculous icon of Virgin Mary is kept here and this is one of the reasons why many pilgrims are coming here.
Megalochori
Have you ever seen a road passing beneath a bell tower? That’s a remarkable spot in a traditional village of Megalochori belonging to the cultural heritage of Santorini. A doll-like place with a cobbled street in the middle, little shops and local taverns, unusual houses, impressive churches and a must see - a private winery Gavalas, voted the best winery of Greece in 2015!
Volcanic islands
Opposite Santorini you can see a round shaped island - our volcano named Nea Kameni. It is active, and taking a boat you can walk to its top to see the fumaroles and a fabulous view towards Santorini and surroundings. Behind the Volcano there is one more volcanic island, Palea Kameni, with hot thermal springs inside the water beside it.
Akrotiri
Many scientists believe a part of Lost Atlantis was located in Santorini, and there are certain facts confirming it. Atlantis or not, the ancient civilization of this island appeared yet somewhat 4500 years BC. Before the famous eruption of the Minoan Era happened, these people had almost the same comforts you had in your houses only in 20th century. Surprised? Come to see it for real!
Firostefani
A beautiful Cliffside resort with hotels and villas hanging right above the sea, making you to forget about everything is called… Firostefani. This is a place with one of the famous blue domes and amazing sunsets, right in between Fira and Imerovigli. The name means “the crown of Fira” and it says it all.
The Lighthouse
The wild rocks of the southern point of Santorini are marked by the only building – the Lighthouse. This is a secret place to watch the sunset, especially popular among the couples. The endless sky meets the endless sea, and you see the whole circle of Santorini from a totally different point of view.
Imerovigli
Imerovigli could be named the “princess” of the island as one of its most chic places after Oia, which could be called the Queen. Imerovigli is very romantic and offers breathtaking views, and for that reason many couples are coming here for their honeymoon. Yet walking around this highest spot of Caldera you can visit Skaros rock or nearby little churches and monastery.
Pyrgos
A castle traditional village of Pyrgos is rather a well-known place for tourists. From the top of the hill where it is located you can observe a half of Santorini as well as never ending vineyards. Lots of stairs lead to imposing white churches and the old houses stand one on the top of the other boarding with tiny souvenir shops and taverns.
Emborio
The village of the locals, Emborio, can boast of the unique architecture, unusual churches and the best preserved Venetian castle on the whole island. This settlement played a significant role in the history of Santorini and becomes a favourite place of everyone coming here.
Kamari Black Beach
A long, black, pebble and sandy beach is stretching out in the sunrise side of the island. Here, in Kamari, the sea is deeper than behind the mountain, but still attractive for swimming and water sports. Vlychada Beach
Santorini is hiding many mysteries. One of them is a “Moonscape” beach, a virgin spot in the south of the island, not far from a small but comfortable marine. The farther you go, the more impressive rocks appear aside the beach to turn the landscape into something resembling another planet. No wonder it is preferred by many nudists and nature lovers. Vlychada is one of the most quite places in Santorini even in mid August.

Very popular in summer and up to the end of the season, this black beach has a lot to offer. More than that, we even have a little Aqua park in this side of the island.
Ancient Thira
Another ancient town is waiting for you to discover its former glory right on the top of the mountain. If you are into history, you’d better visit the place. The views from here are very rewarding and probably you would not want to go away before the site is closed. Ancient walls and beautiful columns, parts of the houses, first Byzantine churches and even a theater overlooking the bright blue sea look like they came out of a movie.
White Beach
There is only one white beach in the whole volcanic island of Santorini, located almost in the southernmost tip of the island. The beach is accessible only from water. Still, taking a catamaran tour or a private yacht, you can swim in the sea with the striking blue color enjoying the views of this unusual for Santorini landscape.
